学生签证延期新动向

两天前与在爱丁堡的朋友通电话，她说近期有好多中国学生在寄签后，得到HOME OFFICE的通知，要求补充材料。包括SPONSOR的证明(willingness & ability)，sponsor从他/她的帐户中转钱给学生的证明，以及sponsor过去3个月的银行账单，等等，等等。好多麻烦，堪比在国内签证。提醒大家注意。Good luck for those need to extend students visa!

on work visa

After getting a work permit you will need to apply for a work visa - Leave to remain visa.
you must include, among all other documents, a certificate of  a degree obtained in the UK

Last time I included my degree cerficate to apply for work permit but I did not do the same for the work visa application. As a result, my application has to wait for my certificate

Still waiting for my work visa. today a letter arrive to tell me my photos are not recent. they are the same as the one on my passport, which is issued in 2002. oh dear, why nobody believes that I'm still as young as 5 years ago :260000

I got my visa finally. though it's very expensive. but overall the service is good. they always kept me well informed. Twice they mailed me to add new documents or photos.
