You can travel with a new valid passport or travel document without having your leave transferred from the previous passport or travel document provided that you carry your old passport or travel document with the endorsement of leave or the letter in which your leave was granted.

It is up to individuals to ensure their travel documents are kept up to date and are valid for travel. The decision to admit a person at port is made by the immigration officer based on the information and evidence presented to them.

英国的签证仍然有效,只是每次出国都要带上旧护照。

多谢啦，这可真是专家会诊啊

俺就每次带两本护照好了，￡160对我来说可是大钱，￡500就更不用说了。现在穷的丁当响

If your passport is valid for 10 years, it worths the effort.  Or you can wait until you got the 10-year-passport, then transfer the visa sticker.

我新发的护照就是10年的。

LS要看你的签证时间长短，如果是永居，当然最好是邮寄申请新的sticker。如果比如只有2年，而你在这两年中的旅行计划不是很多，那就不用麻烦了。自己决定吧！

不长不长，五年而已。但是我就带两个好了，即使被盗了也只是被盗了一半，补起来方便一点
