DAY TRIP TO ST ANDREWS- Saturday 22 March 2008

Spend a day in this historical town, the home of golf.  The bus will take you round the coastal fishing villages in Fife on the way there.  Tickets £6, available from Student Advisory Service, Level 4, The Union.

As well as visiting the historic town of St Andrews, we have arranged for you to have a coastal tour of the East Nuek of Fife on the way there.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=3][color=#000000]The coach will pass through Cupar (see map attached) and travel down to the coast giving you the opportunity to see the small picturesque fishing villages of Fife including Elie, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Crail. The round trip will take approximately 1 hour but the coach driver will stop if you would like to take photographs and stretch your legs.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=12pt][color=#000000]You will arrive in St Andrews around lunch time where you can go to Tourist Information Centre to pick up a map of the town and leaflets on things to do, or you can plan your day and download information from the website:

[font=Arial][size=12pt][color=#000000]There are many attractions including the Aquarium by the shore, the Golf course, The Old Cathedral and quaint cobbled streets with lots of shops. There is seafood restaurant by the beach and many cafes and fish & Chip shops where you can buy lunch.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=12pt][color=#000000]The bus will leave from the front of the Tower building on the Perth Road 9am and will depart St Andrews at 4.30pm.
Please arrive back at the bus at 4.30pm prompt for your journey back, which will take around 40 minutes.[/color][/size][/font]
