Restaurants in Dundee

Since it's about cooking AND restaurants, I'd like to share my favourite restaurants in Dundee with you.  The following list will go through the order of name, type, price and recommendations.  If you have any restaurant in your mind, please let me (a typical foodie) know.

1.China House, Chinese restaurant, reasonable price (of course more expensive than buffets), so far, the only relatively ‘real’ Chinese restaurant in Dundee.  Their Chinese/English menu is highly recommended.  The only problem is that they do not tend to give non-Chinese this menu.  Cannot see why not.

2.Marla Bar, Indian restaurant, slightly more expensive than China House.  It is the best Indian restaurant in Dundee and is the choice for Indians.  In the starter menu, there are two fantastic dishes.  One is the chicken liver and the other is shrimp with potato cake.  Whoever dare to put chicken liver in their menu must be good.  See, if you overcook the liver, it would be hard.  If you undercook it, it would be tasteless.  However, the chicken liver in Marla Bar has always been great.  Of course, if your taste buds cannot appreciate spicy food, just forget about it.

3.The Blue Marlin Seafood restaurant, personally I believe it is extremely expensive.  Not a place for students, but if you got someone who’s willing to pay the bill or if you’d like to show off your high-standard taste, this is THE place to go.  The service is a bit slow, but very intensive.  Food is excellent.

My rating for restaurants around in Dundee:
1)5*China House: I personally love their-口水鸡/ 椒盐大虾 /泡椒鸡丁/琵琶豆腐。他们的火锅也不差（只是比起格拉斯哥的火锅城有一点贵 ）！
2)4* Sheridan';s Bar & Grill-牛扒做得很好， 气氛蛮好的。
3)4*Rancho Pancho Mexican Restaurant  食物不错，酒蛮好喝的，气氛和服务生都满好的。
4)3* Taza Indian buffer : 价格和食物都满匹配的。风景好。
5)3*Papa Joe';s Restaurants, 气氛还蛮好的, 就是食物没设什么特色。
6)1*The Italian , 菜不是很新鲜， 价格昂贵。
呵呵， 以上纯粹是个人意见！

地点位于Overgate 后门。
你真没去过？！

Nethergate的Andre's的菜不是很赞。不论头盘，主菜还是甜品都是好多cream。一点点无所谓，介么多，就系怕怕了。

有没有人知道china house的火锅有点啥东东啊？？？

Restaurants in Dundeen, 我就不给预评价。。。只去过China House, 那里的菜还不错，小店虽小，服务态度还蛮热情的。。。人气也挺旺的。。。:170000

没吃过，有海鲜的，还有肉的。其实吃火锅还是自家做比较好嘛!￡15/人在家根本花不了那么多的钱。

Once upon a time, I had hot pot using RICE COOKER.  Slow, but got there eventually.:20000

You should put in a lot, then COVER it.  Once it's boiled, take off the cover, then eat.  In between, CHAT, CHAT.

what's the difference comparing to cooking soup then?

现在觉得chopstix不错， 周一到周五takeaway 买一送一还送米饭。 现在有时手懒就去那儿买晚餐

听说了，不过离我家太远，拿到家都成冷盘了

好像打电话可以送餐， 不过需要给delivery 小费

个人意见。Dundee 没有什么值得一吃的中餐。:80000 贵，服务还不好，学生没有打折:200000

China house 2 Start, 菜很一般，火锅没敢试。
Chopstick 的椒盐排骨还可以。
