Overstayers
New legislation states that from 2nd July 2007, the Home Office will start refusing 28-day overstayers automatically.
The Home Office now state " From the 2nd July, the Home Office intends to AUTOMATICALLY REFUSE anyone who overstayed for 28 calendar days or more before making their application. There will therefore be on point in such people making an application to the Home Office (unless there are truly exceptional circumstances that mean that a special exception should be made for them)"
