<DIV class=storytext><B>英国新首相布朗上任后把内阁大换血，教育政策是变动最大的部门之一。</B></DIV>
<P class=storytext>布朗首相把“教育和技能部”（Department of Education and Skills）一分为二，一个负责制定有关儿童青少年教育和家庭的政策，另一个负责有关英国科研、创意和高校等技术发展的政策。</P>
<P class=storytext>两个部门的负责官员都是内阁成员。</P>
<P class=storytext><!-- end_story -->布朗上任前多次强调办好教育，培育好英国年轻人一代面对未来挑战。</P>
<P class=storytext><B>儿童、学校和家庭部</B><BR><B>Department for Children, Schools and Families</B></P>
<P class=storytext>负责人：埃德·鲍尔斯（Ed Balls）。</P>
<P class=storytext>这部门将负责制定有关儿童和青少年人的政策，统筹政府各部门内关于年轻人和家庭的措施，确保年轻一代在安全的环境中成长，接受良好的教育。</P>
<P class=storytext>它会从内政部接手推行旨在防止青少年犯罪或误入歧途的“尊重运动”（Respect）。</P>
<P class=storytext>鲍尔斯1967年生，2005年当选为议员，在担任这个新职务前是在财政部位置仅低于布朗的大臣，负责经济事务。</P>

<P class=storytext>这个部门将负责推动英国的科学研究和工商业的创新，制定政策使英国的高等教育学府成为培育世界级人才的地方。</P>
